My job is to help people create an environment where their pet has lots of good options, and almost always makes the right choices. Pets who are empowered to make their own choices are happier and more relaxed. Pets who make the right choices are a pleasure to live with. I’m an expert in making that happen. ​My name is Chris Durrant, CPDT-KA. I am a Professional, Certificated Dog Trainer. I specialize in fear and reactivity in dogs. I truly enjoy solving companion dog behaviors and teaching people how to do so. I love and understand dogs on a deep level - how they learn and think, what makes them happy and attentive and what causes them to act out. Whether your dog pulls on leash, chews up the furniture, barks at other dogs or is fearful of things, I can help. My training techniques are designed to be fun, build confidence (for you and your dog), and change behaviors quickly and effectively. I take pride in offering force-free, scientifically proven methods. ​

Cheryl specializes in successful puppy raising, but also helps guardians with other dog behavior challenges. She offers in-person and virtual private sessions as well as small group classes and Puppy Day School. Cheryl attended the Academy for Dog Trainers in 2002 and have been professionally teaching dogs and their humans ever since.

Ariel has been working with animals since she was a child, and has been professionally training dogs for 5 years. She joined the Pet Professional Guild (PPG) in 2017. She is one of the less than 10 trainers in the US to earn the prestigious title of Professional Canine Trainer (PCT-A) from the Pet Professional Accreditation Board. Service dog training is what she is truly passionate about, but she also offers basic training, trick training, and therapy dog training! Ariel has also served in the military (USAF) and volunteered with local fire and EMS departments. She now has her Golden Retriever, Padme, working as a service dog to assist her day to day.
